Sherman C. Toppin is an experienced attorney whose primary practice areas are Real Estate, Bankruptcy and Business Representation.
Mr. Toppin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Virginia, where he received a four-year academic scholarship. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the College of William & Mary School of Law, and his LL.M in Trial Advocacy from the Temple School of Law. He is admitted to the Bars in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia.
Attorney Toppin’s real estate practice involves all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions, from the initial Agreement of Sale through settlement, including management of his real estate brokerage, Sherman Toppin Real Estate, LLC. The real estate practice group at Stoner & Toppin represents clients with matters that range from simple residential closings to multi-million dollar development deals. Mr. Toppin also serves as a consultant to developers and contractors to find investor capitol for new and exciting projects.
Mr. Toppin’s Business practice covers a broad range of commercial transactions that range from entity formation to asset and stock purchases. As an Adjunct Faculty Member of Business Law and Commercial Law at Strayer University, Professor Toppin brings his expertise to the classroom. Having practiced in a variety of legal settings ranging from small general partnerships to a large prestigious firm, he brings fresh realism to textbook examples.
